Fundraising Dinner - 16th September 2009
Since birth, 17-year-old Jazzy de Lisser has suffered from the insidious virus hepatitis C, which attacks the liver and often leads to cirrhosis. In line with Jazzy`s project to raise awareness of liver disease, a fundraising dinner is to be held on Wednesday 16th September to raise £1.8 million to reconstruct the immunology laboratories at the Institute of Liver Studies at King`s College Hospital in London.
Every part of the evenings festivities is to be donated, from Christie`s offering its King`s Street Premises as the venue to each course of the dinner. Starters are to be provided by Giorgio Locatelli, The River Cafe are organising desserts and Petersham Nurseries Cafe, lead by Skye Gyngell is donating the main course.
We wish Jazzy and all those helping her the best of luck with their fundraising, for this most important and worthy cause.
